One week, one bar of battery

This week was all about rationing camera usage and opting for the iPhone wherever possible. I was totally stoopid and forgot to charge my camera battery for 5 days away with my family followed by one of my best friend's weddings. Woe was me. I decided to save the camera for the wedding, so this is all I got for Center Parcs:

The iPhone reigned this holiday. I've found the camera so much better since upgrading to iOS5 (I know, what took me so long? Well, I'm a bit of a technophobe when it comes to updating things, I must confess. Look where my last blog ended up.)

I did get some crackers from the wedding though, before charging the flash for a pic of the bride and groom cutting the cake totally killed my SLR.

Aren't they gorgeous together? The day's highlights: arranging Jade's train and veil before she walked down the aisle; the mini pasties and Cornish cream teas; the flicker of candles in the walls of the ceremony room; Disney themes played by the string quartet; the Upbeat Beatles tribute band; swaying with my mum and dad to Hey Jude; and the sweet note Jade left me on the wedding breakfast table. She is a gem, no pun intended.

See more of Jade's styling at her florist's lovely blog.
